From June 14 to 20, Basel Social Club returns for its fifth edition. Founded in spring 2022 by a collective of art professionals, Basel Social Club has quickly become known for its nomadic format and its commitment to creating independent social spaces for art during Art Basel week. Each edition unfolds in a site - specific setting — a private villa, a former mayonnaise factory, farmland fields, a historic private bank — bringing together exhibitions, performances, music, gastronomy, and informal encounters. This year, the office serves as subject and stage: A vacant multi-storey building designed by Diener & Diener Architects will be reimagined as a living environment for artistic and social exchange.
